Accessibility Statement

Barspirit wants barspirit.net to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or voice input. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is ongoing work, not a finished project, and we keep improving the site as we find issues.

Measures we've taken

Semantic headings and landmarks so the page structure can be understood by assistive technology.
Alt text on all images.
Keyboard-operable navigation, including a skip link that lets keyboard users jump past repeated navigation straight to the main content.
Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
Support for a visitor's reduced-motion setting.
Zoom and text resizing are not blocked.
Descriptive titles on the third-party forms embedded in the site, so assistive technology can identify them.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site are built and hosted by third-party services rather than by us, and we do not have full control over their accessibility. Our quote request, careers application, event check-in, and calculator forms are provided by Cognito Forms and by Barspirit's own hosted form system, and appear on our pages inside embedded frames. The chat widget on the site is also provided by a third party. We are working with these providers on accessibility. If you have trouble using any of these tools, contact us using the information below and we will complete the same task with you by phone or email.
